I tell documentary stories about people, identity, and society through photography, writing, film, and sound. My work explores human belonging, emotions, and the connection between people and the world, drawing from everyday life, beliefs, rituals, and social and cultural realities. Through projects such as 24 Places/Podlasie, Family Portrait, a long-term documentary project exploring Iceland’s queer community through performances, intimate backstage moments, personal stories, everyday life, and Hidden People, I focus on stories that challenge perspectives, reveal emotional depth, exploring what often remains unseen.

I hold a degree in Press, Advertising, and Publishing Photography from the University of Warsaw, having also completed hostile environment and war correspondent training, preparing journalists to work and report in conflict and high-risk environments. I have worked in journalism since 2004, in photography since 2007. My work has appeared in outlets including National Geographic, Gazeta.pl, Polityka, TVN24, Reykjavik Grapevine, RÚV, and Morgunblaðið, and has been exhibited in solo and group exhibitions in Poland and Iceland; I presented the Best Documentary award at the European Film Awards ceremony in Reykjavík.

Across my practice, I am particularly drawn to people and communities living outside conventional narratives, to the intersection of the extraordinary, the intimate, the authentic.

My current projects also include Octaves, a multidisciplinary platform for musicians where I contribute to visual storytelling, editorial content, and audiovisual production, documenting Iceland’s contemporary music scene.
